On January 9, 2020, Rotary Roselle-Roselle Park kicked off the New Year with its community service project: Students of the Month Breakfast.  Each month a senior from each of the three high schools in Roselle and Roselle Park are honored for their community service, ethics and excellence.  Students are accompanied by their guidance counselors, parents and siblings which makes for a nice audience.  During the meeting, students get public speaking experience as they go to the podium to relate their experiences in community service, their academic, artistic and athletic lives and their future post high school education plans.  They also receive a plaque commemorating the event and a $50 Barnes and Noble gift certificate.

Also, the club has a speaker to present on a topic which would be beneficial to the students.  This month, Rotarian and Attorney Jim Vigliotti spoke on the role of Civility in Rotary, the courts and society.
