Jonathan Massey, Old Bridge - Sayerville Rotary Pres - Elect,
and Bob Zeglarski at OB-Sayerville Beefsteak Dinner

As a District 7510 Assistant Governor, Bob Zeglarski regularly visits the clubs assigned to him - Old Bridge/Sayerville, Kenilworth, Union and Elizabeth. The job of an assistant governor is to keep an open line of communication between the district (includes over 1000 members and 39 clubs) and the club, and to assist club leaders in the administration of their clubs.  Aside from their meetings, he also attends some of their fundraisers, induction ceremonies and social gatherings.

Last night, Bob attended the Rotary Club of Old Bridge Sayerville Annual Filet Mignon Fundraising Dinner at Sacred Heart Church in South Amboy, NJ.  200 people, many who have attended for years, were there.

The event was catered by Brownstone, a famous eatery in Paterson, NJ.  The menu included antipasto, pasta, fries and the Brownstone's signature sliced filet served on small slices of bread.  This food was really good.

The event started a 6 PM with food being served from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM in four courses ending with beefsteak.  Then the DJ cranked it up and the dance floor filled with happy campers.  It all came to a close at 9:30 PM with a big 50-50.

The event was a success in every way especially as a fundraiser.
